Top Five Gifts for "Three-nager" | Mom So Hard, other

6/27/2019

I, too bad, we are definitely getting the sassy, "three-nager" stage right now.
guess since we never had the terrible two's stage

Lord, because she is so much like me, we butt heads a good bit through the day. She's bossy (to me and her daddy), she wants her hair done, she thinks she needs makeup on to go to dance class, she wants to get into my jewelry. If it is sassy and girly, she wants in on it! When not given the chance to take in on those activities, she throws a fit. A fit.

I was planning on purchasing, for her birthday, her very own, tablet. I was going to do a Kindle by Amazon. Its a great price, has some great features, like parental controls, and its not huge. After an incident earlier this week, we have decided that is not an appropriate gift for her at this time. I'll tell you about that later!

So, what is a good gift for a three year old? A "three-nager", if you will!

Family, friends, this is in no way meant to be a shopping list for BB, just a list of things I think would make great gifts for any three year old!

Y'all, my oldest, my "BB", my "momma's girl", is turning three next week. Thankfully, we did not have much of the terrible two's stuff, but I am paying for it now. I mean full on.

B is a lot like me, she is quiet and laid back (I try to be!), until she gets comfortable around you, then she will talk your ears off, sing "Elsa" at the top of her lungs in a nice restaurant, and tell you all about her "daddy terds". And, yes, that is a thing.

My Invite to you, to Study With Me! | Bible Studies

God laid something on my heart a couple of weeks ago. I have been toying with the idea since, doubting myself, convincing myself that this wasn't for me.

Then it hit me. I have been praying that God would point my life where it needs to go. That He would open my heart to hear His voice, to hear His call and command on my life. A verse popped up in my head, that reminded me that if i don't do what I am called to do, that is not only not trusting in Him, that is a sin.

Here I am. Taking the next step (steps) forward in His call.

I want to share it all with you! Yes, friend, you!

I am beginning an online Bible study!

What? That's right!

Personal development is the big thing right now!

You know, bettering yourself, becoming a better wife, mom, leader.. the list goes on.

Basically, focusing on you and chasing your dreams for the overall health of not only your own life, your spouses, your children's, your coworkers', and so forth.

Two of my favorite PD (personal development) books I have read recently, is of course, "Girl, Wash Your Face" and "Girl, Stop Apologizing"! It is also, almost every other woman on my social medias' favorites, too.

Be the positive force, always | Other

*Note to reader*
it is important for me to mention, This post has been completely altered. the reason for that is of my own mistake. I wanted so bad to share a teachable experience (that I am still learning) with my readers, that I failed to think of anyone else. How selfish of me! Seriously. My heart hurts for many reasons, but, I still feel like this is a teachable lesson, not only for others, but for me. I long to be the positive force that helps others, and while putting this out there, I did the opposite. And for that, I am so, so sorry. So, below, you will read a completely different version of this message. Once again, I apologize to any and all who read this that I may have (sincerely) unintentionally offended. I pray that we all can move on and be better versions of ourselves (me, especially!). -A

They say negatives and positives attract. Which is true.

Likewise, positive people always attract negative people. You could say it is nature, science, the devil working against you, whatever. It happens, and what we need to know, is how not to allow this negative energy to tear us down!

A positive force will automatically draw a negative charge to it.

We as people are drawn to the energy we want to possess. I myself, at my best, want to be drawn to upbeat, happy and the person who sees the good in everything and everyone. I want to be drawn to the person who wants to lift others up!

Even negative people can be drawn to a positive source. Doesn't make them positive, but gradually, they will become a positive person, if they are willing.

The issue that can arise, if we're not careful, is that negative energy can do just the opposite. It can bring a positive person down.

Have you experienced that? I have. I have been the negative (not proud) and the positive.

Negative people or even circumstances always seem to try to bring us down right when we are trying to do something great, or be something great. It is just what happens, the Bible teaches on it, I wrote about the story of David and Goliath, and it is all about this. You can read it here.

In part one of this series, we talked about how the fruits work together, and how they can work to make us like God, which is his ultimate goal (Romans 8:29). When I am studying my Bible and devotions, I really like to dig into it, notes in a cute, fun notebook, highlighters, fun pens, and sometimes I even creative journal in my Bible. I currently am working out of this creative Bible, in NIV. (I will link everything all over again at the bottom of this blog!)

The
Fruits of the Spirit message is a great message to dig into! I love a study that links to verses all over my Bible, like a web, connecting all the dots of truth, until it comes back to where I started! This message was just that, and just what I needed.

I have been asking and praying that God open my heart to hear His message to me, and to share with you all, and I love and feel so blessed when He answers that prayer- well, any prayer, but how special that He is giving me a message to share with my friends and readers!

Without further-a-do, lets learn about this fruit!

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Fruits Of the Spirit - How They Work | Bible StudIes

Sometimes, I am at a loss on what to write about. I want my posts to be genuine as sincere, and my Bible Study posts have to be from God. I pray everyday and thank Him for giving me the words to write, even when I don’t have any. They will come.

Yesterday, I started a new book (on day two of my stay action!). titled, ‘A Love Letter Life’, by Audrey and Jeremy Rolloff. Three chapters in and it is really good! But in the first chapter Jeremy writes about how he was enamooured by Audrey and how she seemed to have the characteristics of the Fruit of the Spirit. That paragraph caught my attention, but I didn’t think much of it, until this morning when I was doing my devotion in ‘31 Prayers for my Daughter’, and what was the prayer for today, FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT!!!

Y’all, I need you to know, that not only do I ask and thank God for the words he gives me to share with my readers, friends, coworkers, etc, I ask that he open my heart, eyes, ears and mind, to hear Him speak to me. Being that Fruit of the Spirit was put in my hands not once but twice, and spoke so profoundly to me, lead to me believe I needed to study more on this.
