Deciding to put your kids into the school system or into a homeschool program  is a tough choice to make, there are many pros and cons to each.

Maybe you are doing some “Summer School” projects or studies to keep your child in the school mindset, or to help them get ahead. We have been “playing school” with my babies for months now, and if you know me, we do it right! There is a mini lesson plan that we follow, printouts, projects and organization! (okay, so the organization part is my thing, but it is equally important!) With the girls both, hopefully, starting school (safely) this year, I want to do some extra things with them even when they are home, just to keep them sharp.

Breaking the norms in your business should be something to consider and plan for. Doing so will allow you to “test the waters” to see what works best for your business, you, potential partners and your audience. It is also a great way to have some fun, and show more creativity.

Over time, your audience grows accustomed to your brand and you, they still want to see you and your products, but they want to see new content and marketing, and you should want to produce such things, too. This keeps not only your audience interested, but it keeps you, the creative from becoming burnt out, so to speak.

Below is a list of ways to consider breaking the norm for your business or blog:

As a family that loves to be outside, maybe more than we enjoy being inside, an outdoor living area is really important to us!

We have a couple of different areas that we enjoy relaxing and spending time with the kids in.

We have a great front porch with a swing (built by my husband’s) uncle and rocking chairs, we have a screened-in porch that we are working on adding to, to make it a great eating area!

Outdoor furniture, repairs and other items can get pricey, so we are following our budget where we can, and doing things on our own, when we can!

Last Summer, I really fell in love with running.

Okay, so, more like jogging, but either way, that is a entire new level to "more in shape Amy".

I have never been a runner, jogger or anything of the sort. I remember my middle school physical education teacher making fun of me for not being able to run a mile in less than twenty minutes.

I just couldn't.

I didn't know how to make my body push through the discomfort, and breath correctly. I am still improving my gait, my breathing techniques... all of it.

At the beginning of this year, I planned to sign up for my first 5K ever. This was huge for me. My husband was even going to do it with me; we were going to put the girls in their stroller and do it as a family!

My love language is definitely traveling.

Honestly, you could take me (almost) anywhere and I would make it a blast. Well, I guess China would not be a very fun place to visit right now, but seriously - anywhere else!!

Although traveling is definitely the best part of each trip, obviously, I also love planning each trip and I think that is a close second. I just think it is so much fun dreaming and planning each trip. The possibilities are (almost) endless and dreaming up the fun that we are going to have as a family is priceless. Then, when your hard work pays off and everything becomes a reality, you get to see the joy on your babies faces, and THAT is the best.

Because I have planned so many trips in the past and I love to do it, I know the ins and outs when it comes to planning with ease, instead of getting stressed out about it.

That’s why today, I want to share my best tips when it comes to planning and preparing for a vacation.

Here they are -

    About Amy

Hey Ya'll! My name is Amy, I am a girl mom (times two), married to one of my favorite guys, a daughter, a Jesus follower and so much more. I love preworkout and a great sweat, I collect books like trophies, I love to cook but hate a dirty kitchen. I love grungy country music, bell bottom pants, turquoise (the mineral) and converses. Our house is full of love and laughter as we navigate this busy life together, focusing on keeping the important parts of life the biggest parts, and building a healthy and safe place in our family of four!
