I wanted to share my favorite podcasts that I listen to regularly with you, and a few more that I hear nothing but good stuff about!
I don’t listen to the same podcasts every day or even every week. I kind of skip around and pick out of my favorite based off the topics and titles of the shows, or sometimes I hear good things about a certain show of the podcasts, and I have to go listen for myself! Like I said, I love music (I have an odd playlist), but since I love music so much, if these podcasts take the place of my jamming to and from work, you know that means they must be pretty good! Not to mention, sometimes, you just need something more mellow in your life, for your drives, and this seems to be it. Especially, when they are uplifting or motivating! We all need that in our lives! Rachel and David Hollis
How could you have a list for podcasts or personal development and NOT have the green herself, Rachel Hollis included on it?
You can’t. Rachel’s solo podcast can be life changing. She is an extraordinary speaker, motivator, encourager, and she is funny. She interviews people who are running life in ways we want to be- happily, entrepreneurial, and successful (however you define that!)! (I know I can’t be the only one who likes those is aiming for those things!) While I love Rachel, her podcast, her books, her IG. I thoroughly enjoy the podcast she and her husband do together. The last book I read by Rachel, she explained that they want their marriage to not just be great, but be EXTRAORDINARY. That has stuck out to me ever since, that’s when I began listening to their podcast, Rise Together. They touch on subjects of all kinds, from just talking to your spouse, to the good stuff- sex. Someone needs to, right? The Upside

On Sundays that I can't make it to church,or maybe even days that I haven't had time to sit down and do my daily devotion, this is one of my go-tos!
Proverbs 31 Ministries is also where I get my daily devotions, straight to my email's inbox. Their devotions and ministry is one of the many things that inspired me to begin studying more in His word, and also to begin sharing His word with others. Listen Here. |
Jeremy and Audrey Roloff
Behind the Scenes Podcast
Another podcast I found by way of a book. I picked up a copy of "A Love Letter Life" back in the Summer, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I finished in like two or three days. This was another thing that motivated me to begin writing again.. I also reviewed the book on this post HERE.
The Roloffs touch on all types of subjects, and interview many people, from other authors to family members! Listen HERE. |
Julie Bauer
PaleOMG Uncensored
This girl, cracks me up! I am not paleo, because let’s face, I could never give up rice or other complex grains that simply. That’s my truth. But, she is really insightful on all things food, all things fitness, you name it. She’s knows it. And she has a really cute dog!

Their goal is to remind you that “you are not the only one”. If you have ever felt like your the only one, you totally understand!
I can’t wait to see what these two do!

It seems like more and more more people are going to podcasts instead of radio, or even blogging.
That’s why I believe there is one for everyone, even when we think they are not our thing!
What are you listening to? Do you have your own podcast? We want to know!
I love podcasts! I started my own earlier this year and it's been so much fun. Thanks for some new ideas on what to listen to.
That is so cool! I think podcasters are so intriguing! What is the name of your podcast? I would love to give it a listen!!
I love anything that Proverbs 31 Ministries puts out. Their daily devotions are sooo sooo good.
I've never heard of any of these podcasts! I have been listening to The Heart of It (Estee Lalonde's podcast), The Grow and Glow show, Two Psychologists, Four Beers. I often feel like I enjoy learning new things from podcasts, I love podcasts to inspire me, to lift my spirits. That sorta thing :)

I will have to check those out, too! That's exactly what I look for in a podcast!
I love listening to podcasts. I’ll definitely try some of these
I loved reading this article on podcasting and those you recommend. I too plan to move into this area as well. Thanks for sharing.
No way! I would love to move into that direction in time! Keep us posted on your transition to podcasts, we'd love to support you!
I love podcasts! I listen to them all the time on long car rides, while working, and even while making dinner sometimes. Her life by design podcast is so good. It’s all about influencer marketing and blogging and it’s super inspiring and very motivating.
I believe I have that on my list! There is only so much time in the day! I kind of just listen by title, like by what might hit on something for me!
I might just have to check some out! Sharing this.
Thanks!
Hope you enjoy!
