It is really difficult to believe that Christmas is already here! I feel like it was just Christmas last year.

Okay, that’s not true! 2019 has been long, I mean the month of January lasted 67 days on its own. I think that was a meme!

None the less, there has been so much growth in our lives, from personal to our kids growing up. I looked at a picture of my two and I instantly had that feeling that some moms get, “My babies aren’t babies anymore!”.

Ughh.

I know, it’s part of life. Just a great remember to soak up everything you can and #makethememory !

If your like me, you have been pondering what to get your sweet, but spoiled babies! So, I have compiled a list of the best options we have found!

Books

Picture
I recently came across a book box subscription for kids! If you know me, and my girls, you know we are here for this! We all three LOVE books! I would say it’s a problem, but I don’t think it’s a bad problem to have! Tiny Human Reads, offers monthly or one box at a time options. The boxes are catered toward different age groups and they also have a box for families with different aged kids. I love this idea, and it’s definitely one we are going to try. Plus, my girls will love getting mail!

Play Make Up

Pixie Crush. I have been eyeballing this for a while! My girls are OBSESSED with playing in my makeup. This make up set was designed by a dad, with his daughter and wife in mind, after hearing and seeing his daughter get into her mom's makeup. The makeup doesn't go apply, but looks and feels like the real deal- so that makes this momma happy- less clean up! It also helps establish hand-eye coordination and improve play skills. This will be under the Christmas tree for both my girls this year, I mean, they both need a set, other wise there will be fights, twins or not.!Shop sets here!

Wheels for Their 18'' Dolls

For some reason, both my girls are here for the idea that their 'American Girl' or 'My Life' dolls need vehicles. Me and Justin are not sold on this idea, completely. Mainly because we can see them trying to ride in it, and someone getting hurt or the vehicle broken. Also, the girls really have their eye on the pink "Jeep", and Justin said "If daddy doesn't have a jeep yet, no one gets a jeep.". (haha!) So, there's that!

Arts and Crafts

Of course, the girls love playdoh, but me? Not so much! I like doing stuff like this with them, and so does the grandmothers!

Educational Fun

My inner kid is rolling her eyes at me. Educational Fun? Yeah, right! But, for real. Once again, Melissa and Doug have great choices. These are some of my favorites, and ones that I am looking into getting the girls, for sure! A friend of ours does the Smarty Pants with her kids, and they all love it. Not to mention, this is stuff the girls can do over and over again, and once my oldest is done, the youngest will be ready to jump into this stuff!

Childproof Digital Camera

This seems a bit extra for me, but the girls are very interested in my camera, and pictures. I think that this may be a way to get them away from my camera, and allow them to still have get to play "picture taker". I have always been obsessed with cameras, so I feel it is only natural that these girls feel the same way. My oldest already has a pretty good eye on her!

BONUS:

Something we feel strongly about is making a memory, though my girls are not quiet old enough to understand that or to always remember that (that is why I love cameras, you can freeze that memory forever), we feel its important for not only them, but their loved ones to take time to make a memory. Here are a few suggestions!
  1. A trip to the Zoo.
  2. A trip to a trampoline park
  3. Once a month movie dates
  4. A trip to a theme park (when old enough)
  5. A trip to a broadway type show (when old enough)
These are all ideas, I am also, all for the idea of contributing to their college fund, via a savings account!

What are your ideas!?

This guide is so helpful! Toddlers can be so hard to shop for but this really helped narrow down the best gifts :)

Great ideas! I buy lots of books and am a BIG fan of 'experience' gifts, like lunch and a movie, plays, museum visits and more. I love the memories and my nieces and nephew still talk about all the fun!

We ? books! I think experience gifts are just as good, for them and us. We can take memories all through life, we can’t take possessions through all seasons of life!
