How I Kicked Major Sugar Cravings in Only Three Days | Health & Fitness

Ever since Blakeleigh's third birthday party, the beginning of July, I have not been able to kick my sugar cravings.

All I could think about was cake.

Or any kind of peanut butter anything from Dairy Queen.

If it was cold, and it had peanut butter in it, I wanted it. I thought I needed it. Now, I can honestly say, I never gave into those cravings, but I ate horribly, which was no different, in my opinion!

I didn't know what to do, but I knew, I had to do something, before it got out of hand!
I confided in my friend, Nicole, who is on a similar journey of her own! She encouraged me to not give up, and also made a suggestion to do a "kick start" type of project, to help rid of the sugar cravings, and to help motivate me, and help me focus on my goals.

I went into this kick start, ready to go all in.

And I did on some things.

I can't lie and tell you I was perfect, but I can tell you I did the best I could! My mistake was attempting to do this kick start at work.

You see, at work, I stay hungry. All. the. time. While, at home, I am hardly ever hungry. I don't understand that at all!!

I prepped my meals, I timed out my meals and drinks, and prepped myself to drink all the water!

I fell off on the first day. No joke.

I picked back up the next day, and on day three, and did my absolute best.

A little Glimpse into this Kick Start:

My Before:

Breakfast:
Superfood shake (protein) and a fruit

Lunch:
vegetable, healthy fat,
fruit

Dinner:
cucumber salad

There is also a fiber shake that you drink in the mid-morning, and a shake to drink with your lunch and dinner! It really is a lot of food.

And, of course, you are supposed to drink a ton of water! The best I drank those three days was a little over a gallon and a half! Which to me, is insane! But, it really did help!

*water tip: find a cute water bottle (or if your like- bottles) to drink out of. It is motivating, and makes it a tad bit more fun! I will share my current favorites below!

Overall, I lost almost five pounds!

And, I am holding on to that cucumber salad recipe! Sooo good!

Before & After:

The pictures honestly do not do the change, justice!

What is most important to me, is that I do not crave sugar... as much!

This cleanse was not one of the easiest things I have done. But, there are some things in life that are worth having, that are not easy to get! I would definitely try this again in a few months. On days when I am not working!!

Want to give it a try, too? Email me here, and lets get you started!
