Giving gifts is something that you either love or hate. Or, maybe you have mixed feelings about it.

You love giving them, but you hate picking them out.

Does that sound familiar?

If you are like that, then let me help you out!

Here are just a few gift ideas for anyone and everyone. I hope this helps you when you go to pick out a gift for your grandparent, parent, a baby, or even a co-worker!

A Grandparent

Grandparents - and parents, for that matter - seem like they have everything.

So, what do you get them?

With older people who have literally been through it all and know exactly what they want and need, it can be hard, but fear not: I have ideas!

While each person is different, a great idea that most like are personalized items. This can be anything from a customized pillow with names or monograms on it, or it could be a customized calendar or book with photos of their family members in it.

In my opinion, you can never go wrong with customized products for parents or grandparents, especially when you have a little one(s) of your own. They will take all of the pictures of that sweet baby/babies. If they just aren’t the customizing type when it comes to pictures, consider maybe a really nice cutting board with their last name engraved in it.

Other items that are great for grandparents are tiles (attach that baby to their keys and they will never lose them again!), a smartphone picture printer, a weighted blanket, a chair massager, or the gift of a service, such as a house cleaning.

One last item that you could gift them is a custom-made
bronze plaque, if they deserve to be honored (most grandparents do!).

The Babies

So, although I have two little ones, I am a bit out of the loop when it comes to tiny baby gift items because things change so quickly!

Apparently, the newest trend is baby paper, which is basically just crinkly paper. So many moms swear by these!

I also like to give items that grow with the baby, so swings, jumpers, and walkers are out.

Instead, maybe consider a play mat that transitions from a play mat to a reading tent, such as the Lovevery play gym. Lovevery also has play kits that are great. They are montessori-style based toys and grow with the baby over time instead of only being applicable for that specific age, which goes by too quickly.

The Toddlers

This is more of my current area of expertise.

One great gift idea for babies, toddlers, and even beyond is the Tiny Humans Read box.

With this, you get three books a month and they always have great stories in them. We love getting this box each month and I just know that your toddlers will too.

Their goal is to provide babies with more book time and less screen time, which I think is a great incentive.

Another great idea with all kids, in general, is to ask the parents if there is anything that the baby/toddler/older kid needs.

So often we give just to give and if we asked first, we could help the parents so much! My friend, Alex, has an Amazon Wish list for her daughter for this exact reason. Create the wish list for your kiddos so that others know what you need (or want).

A Coworker

The dreaded co-worker gift.

If you feel this way, I feel you…

Giving gifts to co-workers can be tough because you don’t know how much to give or sometimes, even what they like.

Instead of guessing, maybe give them a gift that continues to give when it comes to their professional life.

A briefcase is an excellent choice, or you could go more personalized with it and gift a nameplate!

I love this option because they know that you really worked hard on it since it is customized. In my opinion, however, you cannot just gift any nameplate - it has to be a high-quality one, such as the options from East Point Foundry. These are 100% customizable and help convey professionalism, class, and excellence.

East Point Foundry offers bronze, aluminum, or custom nameplates for you to choose from so that you have control over your namesake.
East Point Foundry has been committed to detail, high-quality craftsmanship, and excellence since 1948. With headquarters in East Point, Georgia, they not only create custom nameplates, but they also handcraft rich, high-quality cast bronze and aluminum plaques for building signs, corporate facilities, donor recognition, and memorials for schools, churches, and private organizations, as well.

Your Significant Other

Goodness, this one is hard because gifts for your significant other can be so personal.

The good thing about gifts for your other half is that you probably know what they need...and want...and then some!

Do they need a new bible? Great gift option!

Do they want new golf clubs? Consider gifting those, then!

If they have everything and do not want anything else, maybe consider an experience. I believe that even after kids, it is so important to date your spouse and really continue creating memories and connections with them, so a date night (or a trip!) is a fantastic option that will continue to give after they initially receive the gift.

Friends

Last but not least, friends!

Once again, if you pay attention, you will hear about some of the things that they might want or need.

This is another place where Amazon wish lists could come in handy, but if you do not have one for that friend, just think about their likes and dislikes.

Even a bottle of wine, or a bag of tea would be much appreciated, I am sure!

What are some of your favorite gifts to give?
